Every day, the Coalition for Compassion and Justice meets people’s immediate needs: a warm meal, a pair of boots, a roof repair, help with paying for medication and more. But what is CCJ’s help going to look like in 2063 and beyond?
We probably won’t be here to see it, but a group of our contributors are making sure that people in need continue to have a place to turn. These contributors have chosen to leave a legacy for the long-term future of CCJ and CCJ Home Repair. This future is no longer just a concept, but real endowment funds with the Yavapai County Community Foundation.
The principal from these funds will remain invested. As these funds grow, CCJ is able to put the earnings to work, to continue to meet people’s basic needs, assist them in times of crisis, and help them develop the resources they need to become self-sufficient.
If you believe in CCJ’s vision, ” Hope and Relief for People in Poverty,” you too can become part of that legacy. Perhaps your gift will be a distribution from your retirement fund. Maybe it is even more long-term. As you plan your estate, consider leaving a gift to CCJ. Most people have several causes that are important to them. Is CCJ one of those for you?
CCJ’s endowments will be here in perpetuity. If you are committed to CCJ, we hope that you will consider helping to grow the CCJ endowments so they can increase our ability to assist people for years and years to come.
