As it often happens with CCJ, we have, again, experienced what a few people with a passion for serving can accomplish.  Our friends at Bagdad High School caught wind of our idea for Sleeping Cottages through our partnership with United Way and Annette Olson.  The Family, Career and Community Leaders of America at BHS responded by building a Sleeping Cottage.  They then entered the Lead2Feed Student Leadership contest.  With over 5,000 schools entering, the Sleeping Cottage took 1st Prize!  Winnings included $10,000 for Bagdad HS, $10,000 for CCJ, and $10,000 for United Way (which was generously donated to CCJ)!  What and amazing commitment to a cause and a new home for one of our homeless advancing out of poverty.
